The Aros Hall was built in the late 19th Century and gifted to the people of Tobermory by the Allans of the Aros Estate in 1949. The hall hosts a wide range of community events and offers discounts to local user groups. Regular activities include a weekly producers’ market, sewing club, lunch club and toddlers group. The hall also hosts annual events including the Mull Drama Festival and NOMADS panto.
A project is currently underway to modernise the hall to ensure it remains a sustainable community asset. The recent installation of a soft play facility and improvements to the hall’s interior have gone some way to achieve this. Our next priority is to upgrade the heating system, replace the windows and install an access ramp.
